Mount Everest is the worlds tallest mountain, with a peak that is 8,848 metres above sea level. It is part of the Himalaya mountain range along the border of Nepal and Tibet. The first people to climb the summit were Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay on May 29, 1953. More than 200 people have died while trying to climb the mountain.

Mount Kilimanjaro is located in Tanzania, Africa. It contains 3 volcanoes, Kibo is dormant and stands at 5,895 m, Mawenzi (also dormant) is 5,149m while Shira (the oldest and is extinct) stands at 3,962 m.
